Customer Service Representative – Binghamton Office – Immediate Availability


Who we are!
SaveAround was founded in 2004 and is a family-owned company headquartered in Binghamton, NY. Our core business focuses on developing coupon books for non-profit organizations to use as a means for fundraising. Our company also offers customized books to meet the needs of specific clients and offers web based discount programs, including mobile applications. In sum, we drive business to local businesses, we help non-profits get the funding they need, and we save our customers money.


Job Summary
The Customer Service Rep position has two main responsibilities year-round - answer incoming phone calls/emails from customers and process shipments in our shipping software tools. However, our business is a seasonal one, and your busiest time will be the “back to school” season, Aug 1 - Dec 1.   

Our Ideal candidate will have experience with customer service, will enjoy getting to understand multiple aspects of our business, and will like problem solving with our customers.

Some of this problem solving will include troubleshooting our app and other digital programs, so comfort with technology is a must.


SaveAround uses GSuite (GMail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.), Shopify, and Shipstation; familiarity with these products is a plus. 


The Boring Stuff (Minimum Requirements):
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable with computers
  • Experience with multi line phones
  • Demonstrated experience in Customer Service in resolution of customer issues
  • On Site, in person position
